P-Power assisted liposuction using MicroAire

The first step towards contouring and liposuction is to suck out the fat. This procedure can cause blood loss and other damages to our skin. At RG Aesthetics, this is carried out with the help of MicroAire. It is a Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL) technique that helps in handling the challenges in a better way. It is initiated by tumescent fluid infiltration. This is usually done using syringes or infiltration pump but we have improvised this with power-assisted MicroAire. Along with this, a pressure infiltration pump is attached. This is connected with the power-assisted cannula which gives a gentle back and forth movement. This creates different spaces and multiple planes in the underlying fat. This, in turn, allows the tumescent fluid to get evenly distributed in all planes.

The next step towards this procedure is also carried out with MicroAire. This is taking out all the emulsified fat which can be done manually too. At RG Aesthetics, this is done with power-assisted MicroAire. There is a suction apparatus to which this device is attached, the suction provided is negative and is effective in removing the fat. The major advantage of this technique is that the adjacent tissues are not torn. Thus, MicroAire is an integral part of PURE because of the number of benefits it gives.

U-Ultrasound assisted liposuction using Vaser

After tumescent infiltration, fat emulsification process is done. This can be done with a number of methods like manual, power assisted or ultrasound assisted. We at RG Aesthetics carry out this crucial step with ultrasound-assisted liposuction(VASER). This VASER removes only the fat leaving the vessels and other tissues undisturbed. The ultrasound waves target only the fat cells and also helps in shrinking/tightening of the skin. VASER treatment has to be done by an experienced surgeon as temperature control is absent. At RG Aesthetics, our cosmetic surgeons make sure this done only for a specific time that benefits in both fat emulsification and skin tightening. This is further equipped with MicroAire. This is because using only VASER can cause severe skin burns. That is why RG Aesthetics has combined these imperial techniques together.

Radiofrequency Enhanced contouring is again used for tightening the skin after fat suction. RG Aesthetics uses an advanced technology product from ThermiGen which is called Arvati. This ThermiArvati is a sophisticated skin tightening device that is based on radio frequency. This produces heat that can stimulate collagen production in the skin. This is an advanced contouring method that uses an electrode which heats up the tissue. It can be regulated by the clinician and it helps the skin to tighten, enhance appearance and reduces wrinkles. This technique focuses on the complete remodelling of subcutaneous tissues.

Radiofrequency Enhanced contouring can be accomplished in two methods.

1. THERMISmooth
2. THERMITight

THERMISmooth is a natural looking cosmetic treatment that reverses ageing. It is conducted through a noninvasive, controlled heating process. This is carried out along a series of 3 to 6 treatments for a period of 6 to 9 weeks. Arvati helps the skin tissues to relax with a scientifically determined temperature.

THERMITight is regenerating process that produces all the lost collagen. This is accomplished by realizing RF energy to tighten the skin after the liposuction process. A cannula attached with a camera is sent beneath the skin to heat it. The surgeon keeps a check on where the cannula is present and also regulates the heat. This can either be combined with liposuction or performed as a stand-alone process. It takes only 15-20 minutes for THERMITight alone and takes 1 to 1 and half hours for the combined procedure.
