The Procedure:

The procedure for Spectra Carbon Laser peel involves the use of concentrated pulsing beams of light & carbon spectra lotion. This helps improve the skin condition and rejuvenate the damaged skin.

Carbon spectra lotion is first applied to the face, avoiding the eyes and the mouth area. This is followed by focused & controlled bursts of laser beam on the areas to be treated. The laser bean is absorbed by the carbon particles in the lotion, that helps treat the acne and penetrates the pores. The thermal effect of the laser helps stimulate the cells to generate collagen that helps in regeneration of new skin.

It is then followed by a dual-pulsed q-switched nd:yag laser, that is used to remove the carbon spectra lotion. This helps exfoliate the upper layer of skin by removing the dead skin cells and unplugging the pores, causing the inner walls of the pores to shrink, thus reducing pores size.

Results

The results are immediate and there is improvement in just 1 session. There is reduction in pores, acne and pigmentation. In addition, the skin tone and texture also improves, giving a more bright and refreshed look. Regular treatment promotes regeneration of collagen to improve elasticity of the skin.

Generally, 3-4 sessions at an interval of 2-3 weeks is required for optimal results.

Recovery

The entire process is completed in 30 minutes. It has no downtime & is a painless procedure. There may be minor redness or irritation that is temporary and fades away in a few hours. One can resume normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. However, it is recommended to avoid direct exposure to the sunlight immediately after the treatment. It is also advised to wear sunscreen when going outdoors.
